Called Tyler at Clear Chimney and he was very prompt in his follow up with us to have our flue cleaned and to add a screen to the opening since we were having a problem with birds coming down into the flue and stove. Could not be happier with his service, however, I just noticed that I missed out on the $50 off end of season coupon on your website which would have been nice to get that discount. Maybe next time. Tyler was awesome!! I had trouble getting a new stove installed. I got Clear Chimney’s number and Tyler called me back the next day, was at my house within a few days and had options that weren’t even mentioned to me with another company. He saved me about $2500 on the install. Then when we picked up our stove it had rust on it and he quickly had another option for us and was a much better stove. He picked it up in West Knoxville from Harriman and brought it to us and installed it the next day! Amazing service!!
Tyler kept me apprised of his schedule and was efficient and professional when he got here. Explained services and fees and then set about taking care of chimney inspection using a camera and replacing gas log remote control and battery box. We are very pleased to have working remote for gas logs! Will call Clear Chimney again, have recommended the company and Tyler to a friend.
Tyler responded quickly when I had an issue with my wood burning stove. He was able to trouble shoot the problem and fix it while onsite. I plan on having Clear Chimney help with routine maintenance of my wood burning stove and chimney.

We had a very gunked up chimney...should have cleaned it sooner. Tyler and wife from Clearchimney did a great job cleaning it out. There is a very heavy cast iron wood stove insert in the fireplace. They pulled it out which is not easy. Everything looks good...no mess left behind. They were very understanding having dogs and called on the way over here as I had asked. Very nice people and most reasonably priced. Will definitely call them again.

My husband and I purchased an older home on Watts Bar Lake. We’ve had a very difficult time getting anyone out to the house to take a look at our wood burning fireplace. It looks like it needs some cleaning and TLC to get get it functional and safe for use. We were told (over the phone and sight unseen) by 2 other contractors that it can’t be done. We would need to spend 15k to rebuild and the fireplace is not salvageable. After becoming very discouraged I received a phone call from Tyler. He was responding to an online inquiry I made. Tyler and his wife came out to the house the next day. He got up on the roof and assessed the damage. 30 minutes into the consultation he said “no problem”!

After moving into our new home, we really wanted to start using the wood-burning stove. Since we didn't know the status of the fireplace flue, we searched out "chimney sweep Knoxville". Fortunately, we met Tyler and Mackenzie from ClearChimney.com What a great couple and fine job. Remember to inspect those chimneys now that the cold weather is here.
Tyler and his wife came and cleaned my chimney. Was shocked I had won a free cleaning valued at around $300. I had also asked about servicing my very old Appalacian Wood stove that had never been serviced. I was expecting a separate charge and expecting to replace some parts since I’d been burning it for the last 20 years with light use through that time. I knew my catalytic converter had failed. Though I might need a new gasket and who knew what else. Well to my surprise after about an hour or more of cleaning the chimney and taking apart the catalytic converter, sealing a hole in the flu and making some other adjustments he said good to go - all included in the free cleaning!!! I was shocked but pleasantly surprised. A very nice young couple that worked well together. I thought they were really young but Tyler has at least 18 years experience with stoves. Answered all my questions about maintenance and cleaning. Stove looks better than before they came!
